The founders
of not-for-profit entities face many of the same issues
applicable to owners of for-profit enterprises (e.g., desire for
limited liability), plus some unique features found only in the
not-for-profit world. Often, these individuals have a great
idea and loads of energy, but do not have the funds needed to
secure the advice they need to get the entity formed properly.
As part of our mission, we have assisted with the formation of
many charitable organizations, often for a reduced fee. We
have also helped those entities secure 501(c)(3) status with the
IRS and exemption from Florida sales tax. Although this is
obviously not a profit center for us, we are committed to using
our talents to help those dedicated people who have a genuine
desire to assist the less fortunate.
